It consists of 3 phases.

hi!

The civil services exam conducted by UPSC for recruitment of IPS officers does not consider the percentage of marks obtained in 10th or 12th. So, it does not matter whether you have secured high or low marks in 10th or 12th.

Yes, you are eligible for appearing in the CSE after completing your graduation since you meet their eligibility requirement.

CSE eligibility:
Candidate must hold a bachelors degree obtained from a recognized university. There is no percentage requirement.

Candidates appearing in final year exam of qualifying degree may also apply.

well anil,

complete your BBM degree after that if you are eligible then only apply.

by the way i must say you that you are eligible enough.

securing 46% in 12 it doesn't matter at all.

i am fetching you the eligibility conditions for CIVIL SERVICE EXAMS

Educational Qualifications :

Graduates in any discipline from a recognised university. Candidates having professional and technical qualifications recognised by the government are also eligible.

Age Limits :

you must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st August of the year in which examination is being held.

Number of Attempts:

Every candidate appearing at the Civil Services Examination, who is otherwise eligible, shall be permitted four attempts at the examination.

Re: Is it possible to write Civil Services exam after completing BBM?

Yes you can definitely attend the exam after completing your BBM course cause the minimum eligibility required is that you have to be a graduate.

As you know the exam is conducted by the UPSC and consists of three stages
1.preliminary
2.mains
3.personal interview

The applications will be available in your city head office.

all the best

Re: Is it possible to write Civil Services exam after completing BBM?

any graduate student may appear in UPSC examination for IPS.

but as you have a very poor percentage in 12th level then it will be very difficult to compete with other student. because in IPS examination competition is very high. in this examination very much good student appear and they have a very good marks. as you have poor marks so you will be in back as for your marks.

but you are eligible for the examination after your graduation. you may try, if you can do well in examination and interview then may be they select you although the chance is very less. it is better to try for another.

best wishes.

Of course, UPSE civil service exam requires candidates to pass in any degree from a recognized university. Your previous academic records doesn’t matter as long as you score excellent marks in the Civil service Examination. Work really hard and try to score top scores in your BBM and Civil service exam.
