I have completed my B. Com(CA) in Regular College and i Done MBA ( Banking and Finance ) in Distance Mode if i am eligible to apply Assistant Professor Job in management colleges or i have to do M phil in regular .

Pls reply me i am so worried about this.

As per the guidelines of University Grant Commission, candidate shall not be considered eligible for the post of Lecturer in any recognized Universities and Colleges unless he/she has qualified either of the two examinations conducted by the commission:

National Eligibility Test for Lectureship
State Lectureship Eligibility Test

Both the tests are conducted under the regulation of University Grant Commission and the only difference between the two is that the National Eligibility Test for Lectureship is conducted on national level and qualifying the test enables the candidate to apply for the position of Lecturer in universities and college located anywhere in India whereas, State Lectureship Eligibility Test is conducted on State level and qualifying the test enables the candidate to apply for the position of Lecturer in universities and college located in the particular state from where the test has been taken. So, since you want to join universities/Colleges located in Tamil Nadu, you may take the State Lectureship Eligibility Test conducted in Tamil Nadu or National Eligibility Test conducted on National Level.

As far as eligibility criteria is concerned, for both the test, candidate must have completed masters degree examination in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks, which is relaxed upto 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
