I have completed 12th You are join in INDIAN ARMY through NDA exam.This exam is conducted by the UPSC twice a year i.e NDA-I,NDA-II.12th standard candidates are applicable to write this exam.there is no percentage of marks required for this exam. ELIGIBILITY: Candidate should complete 12th standard from a recognized university Age limit for this exam is 16.5 to 19 years. I have completed 12th There are two ways to join in Indian army i.e after completion of 12th standard with NDA(National Defence Academy) and after completion of graduation with CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam. Now you are completed 12th standard so you are eligible for the NDA exam. The NDA exam is conducted two times in a year i.e NDA-I and NDA-II. These exams are conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission). UPSC conducts most of the Defence exams every year. NDA has three wings:- 1. Indian army, 2. Indian navy, 3. Indian airforce. Eligibility criteria:- ***The candidates who wants to apply NDA should have a minimum educational qualification is 12th standard. ***The candidate must be physically fit. *** Final exams of 12th standard studens may also eligible. ***But for Indian navy and airforce only Physics, chemistry and mathematics students are eligible. Age criteria:- The candidates age should be 16.5 years to 19 years. No age relaxation for any/every reservation candidates. Gender:- Only unmarried male candidates can only eligible. Girls are not eligible for this exam Nationality:. Citizen of india. Selection process:- Written test, SSB interview, Medical test. Re: How to join Indian Army? I have completed 12th Hi, Nice to see that you are Interested to make your career in Defence and want to Join Indian Army. So, If you have completed your 12th examination then you can apply for NDA (National Defence Academy) examination, After completing your Intermediate examination you can appear for NDA Examination OR 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme. But for TES, You have to scored with a minimum aggregate of 70% in Physics, Chemistry & Maths (PCM) in your 12th examination. But to apply for Army wings of NDA, you have to complete your 12th examination in any discipline from a recognised Board, Final year appearing candidates are also eligible for NDA Examination. If you have scored more than 70% Marks in your 12Th examination with PCM subjects then you are eligible for TES. For TES, your age should between 16.5 to 19.5 years. To apply for NDA Examination your age should between 16.5 to 19 years, no upper age relaxation is applicable in Defence. Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA Examination, But for this you have to be Physically and medically fit in all the respects. But for this year NDA (I) Examination was already Published and the last date to apply for this examination was already over and the examination will be held soon on 15/April/2012. If you have missed the chance this year then please apply for this examination in the month of May because the notification will be published soon on 05/May/2012. Eligible candidates may fill the application form online only, No other mode of application should be accepted by UPSC. You have to pay the fees by offline or Online by using Debit/Credit or Net Banking of SBI. To apply for NDA, you must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease. The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. (162.5 cms for Air-Force). Your chest should be well developed, fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms You should be able to read in a distant vision chart 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in worse eye with or without glasses. Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D and hypermetropia not more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism. Examination The N.D.A. & N.A. Examination is conducted by UPSC twice a year. The lower age limit for the exam is 16.5 years and the upper age limit for the exam is 19 years. The exact limiting date of births are clearly mentioned in the advertisement of the exam. There is no restriction as per subject of 10+2 and percentage of marks. The advertisement is published in leading daily newspapers and Employment News and also on the UPSC official website http://www.upsc.gov.in/. The facility of online application is made available on http://upsconline.nic.in/ The other way of joining Indian Army after 10+2 i,s TECHNICAL ENTRY SCHEME (10+2 TES) The age limit for this entry scheme is 16.5 to 19.5 years. You can apply for the exam if you would have studied Physics, Chemistry and Manths. subjects in 10+2 and have secured 70% or above marks in aggregate in 12th.
