-candidate must have completed the graduation from recognised university.

-final year candidates are also eligible.

-candidate must have 60% marks.

-age should be in between 21-30 years.

-for SC/ST 5 years relaxation is there and for OBC relaxation of 3 years.

-candidate must be indian.

Depending on the vacancies available SBI conducts examination for various posts like clerk, probationary officer and specialist officer. It is one of the largest bank in India and its branches are there almost in every nook and corner of the country and even overseas. To give their exam certain eligibility criteria needs to be satisfied and some of them have been listed below:

SBI Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria:


==> Educational Qualification: The minimum qualification required for this post is that you need to be a twelfth pass out. Apart from that you should have 60 percent of marks in aggregate as well.

If you opted for diploma degree over 12th boards exam after class 10 then also you will be considered for the exam provided you have done a regular course and not in correspondence. So the minimum duration of the course should be of two years and you need to secure 60 percent of marks.

Even graduates are eligible if they get the pass marks at graduation level. This degree can be done in any discipline from a recognized university. There is percentage relaxation for the reserved category candidates.


==> Age limit: It is to remember that your age should not be in any case below 18 years when sitting for this exam. This rule is binding on all candidates no matter what your category is. The upper age limit varies from one candidate to the other. The upper age limit for general category candidate is 28 years.

==> Selection Procedure:

Selection procedure for this exam includes one written examination which is followed by the interview session. You will be called for the interview session only if you manage to get the pass marks or the qualifying marks in the written exam. Having said that pass marks not always necessarily guarantees selection because preference will be given only to those candidates who manages to get the highest marks of all. So you should always target to get the maximum marks possible.


==> Written Examination:

For the SBI clerk written examination generally objective type of questions are asked. There will be five papers to solve in two hours and fifteen minutes. Forty marks have been alloted for each paper and all in all there will be 200 questions therefore of total marks 200.

Questions for the examination will come from the following sections:
  • General Awareness
  • General English
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Reasoning Ability
  • Marketing Aptitude/ Computer Knolwedge


==> Interview Session:

The interview session holds a lot of importance as through this session they tries to find out whether you are compatible enough for the job or not. Basic questions are asked which needs to be answered with full confidence and its all about being yourself in front of them. They might ask you to say something about yourself or they will quiz about your work experience etc. All of them needs to be handled professionally and you should optimistically try and answer every question that comes your way.

If you have completed 10+2 with any stream from recognized board with above 60% marks then you are applicable for SBI CLERK Exam.

OR
