I think biochemistry is more intensive when it comes to studying detailed reactions of metabolic pathways .microbiology also involved a lot of molecular work, but probably at a more general level - not so much structures and pathways. I think microbiology may be a little more "applied science", as it involves a lot of the topics. When we talk about career prospect,Microbiology take a good lead.This because after persuing M.sc (Microbiology) one easily get job in Pharmacy industry,reasearch institutes and it also holds good prospect teaching. What is the scope of Medical Biochemistry? I am a B.Sc graduate. Hi, my self paras shrivastava. right now i am doing B.Sc with the subjects, zoology, botany and chemistry. This is my final year.
