Re: Career scope of MBA in HR?

Hi

HR is one of the main fields of MBA
( Others field are finance, operation, marketing, systems, strategy)

Earlier it was not given as importance as other fields but with time people and company has realized its importance
We have MBA colleges like TISS, XLRI, Symbiosis which are know to produce world class HR.
Many people argue that HR are the first person to be fired during recession, which is not true. A good HR, will always retain his/her position. More over, if they are first to be fired than they are first to be hired as well.

If you want to pursue this field then do it from well reputed college.

All the best

No matter what we do or who we are, we certainly end up managing things - or being managed ourselves. Wherever there is a need for people to work together to accomplish anything - there is a need for management and leadership skills. The managerial role is critical for economic performance and producing conditions. A good manager makes work satisfactory and productive and always tries for the betterment.

Management education can help students achieve success in their career life along with their self-interests, future hopes, wishes and goals in life. This is the significant feature of management studies as compared with other field of studies. To any responsible persona in any of the organization, management skills would surely help achieve things in a structured manner. Almost all the business groups and organizations appoint management people these days, to take care of their different managerial divisions and departments. These business groups or organizations may include:

Manufacturing
Commerce
Healthcare
Education
Legal
Nonprofit

Any specialized science organization and so on.

Applying the principles from the day to day functioning till managing the profit of a firm, students with management skills do the things differently and effectively and hence they are in great demand.

Re: Career scope of MBA in HR?

HR has to handle all aspects pertaining to human resources in the company. These include recruiting, training, team building, performance updates, employee policy, salary, benefits and increments, employee health and safety as well as staff amenities. The manager is also responsible for mobilising the workforce towards the company’s accomplishment plans and objectives, by creating a work environment in which people will be motivated, contributing, and happy. His/her role varies as per the organisation. In a small company, s/he is required to handle all human resources issues, while in a large organisation with an HR department; the manager is allocated only certain responsibilities.

Re: Career scope of MBA in HR?

of course you can apply for MBA at IGNOU as MBA requires the 50% criteria in graduation that's it. It accepts MAT/CAT score as well as for other it is required to clear there open entrance exam. you will better choose the finance section as it is booming the market. As well as the marketing or Human resource field is also a good option.

The human resource (HR) management function – which is responsible for recruiting, training, appraising, compensating, and motivating these employees – has assumed a bigger and more significant role in the firm and its strategy. You will gain the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage the HR function and, thus, help make companies and organisations more efficient and competitive.

you are prepared and trained for to become HR leaders in the organisations. It can help you acquire the role of a strategic partner in leading, managing and developing the human assets of the organisation. In addition, the degree programme aims to provide an integrative framework within which the numerous organisational behaviour issues and variables can be situated and conceptualised.
