Eligibilty criteria for SBI clerk exams:

Minimum qualification of 12th pass with 60% marks for General category

Minimum qualification of 12th pass with 55% marks for SC/ST/PWD/XS

Age should be between 18 years to 28 years

5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST category candidates

3 years upper age relaxation for OBC category candidates

10 years for Persons With Disability of General Category

15 years for Persons With Disability of SC/ST Category

13 years for Persons With Disability of OBC Category

SBI Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria:-
  • To give this exam you need to be a higher secondary passed out candidate with not less than 60% of marks at 10+2 level.
  • If you have a diploma degree then also you can apply but it should be a regular one and its duration should not be less than two years. You need to get 60% in this case as well.
  • After completing graduation too one can apply. You can do your graduation in any discipline of your choice. In this case you just need to secure the pass marks.
  • When applying for this exam your age should not be less than 18 years. The upper age limit for general category candidates is 28 years.
  • There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. For SC/ST candidates it is 5 years, for OBC candidates it is 3 years and for physically handicapped candidates it is 10 years.
  • Selection Procedure basically includes the following stages:- 1) Written Examination and 2) Personal Interview. Final selection will be based on the marks obtained in both the stages of selection.
  • The exam is mainly objective type and therefore conceptual. Questions will be of twelfth standard. There is negative marking too. 0.25 marks will be deducted from the original score for every wrong answer you give.
  • For the exam you need to stress on the following sections:- General Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Marketing Aptitude/Computer Knowledge.
  • If you qualify in the written examination then you will be called for the interview session. You need to get minimum 40% in the written exam. It is 35% of marks in case of reserved category candidates. Generally a maximum of three people is called for one single post vacant.

If you have completed 10+2 with any stream from recognized board with above 60% marks then you are applicable for SBI CLERK Exam.

OR

Those candidate have completed Graduation from recognized university are applicable for SBI CLERK Exam.

Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.
