CGL Exam Details:-

To recruit officers at various posts CGL or Combined Graduate Level Examination is conducted by the Staff Selection Committee. For this year's examination online registration opened in the month of January and ended in February. The exam is due in 14th April 2013 and 21st April 2013.

Educational Qualification:

Compiler: You should have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Economics or Statistics or Mathematics should be there as compulsory or elective subjects.

Statistical Investigator Grade – II: You need to have a bachelor's degree with economics as one of the main subject or bachelor's degree with mathematics as one of the main subject.

All other Posts: For all other posts a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university is more than enough.

Age limit:

For Statistical Investigator Gr.II: The upper age limit is 26 years.

For Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI: Your age should be between 20-27 years.

For all the other major posts the lower age limit is 18 years and the upper age limit is 27 years. You should not be born earlier than 2nd January 1986 and not later than 1st January 1995.

The written examination is generally conducted in three tiers as mentioned here : Tier -I -- Written Examination (Prelim), Tier -II -- Written Examination (Main) and Tier -III -- Personality Test.

SSC CGL Exam is conducted in two stages.

This examination conducted through SSC in every year.
SSc exam consists of three parts
(i)Tier I exam::

(ii)Tier II exam::

(iii)Tier III interview::

Eligibility Criteria:

Graduate Degree from a recognized university.

The age limit require between 18-27 years.(There is a relaxation for SC/ST & OBC).

Nationality:Indian
