Dept. conducted by UPSC like:- CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION to become IAS/IPS/IRS/IFS etc. INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE to be appointed as Engineers in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/Electronics & Telecommunication Branch under Central Govt. COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE to join defence sector BANK OFFICER'S EXAM conducted by SBI and IBPS and many more State Govt. services conducted by PSC of a State. |

For most of the above mentioned examination candidate age should be between 21 to 30 years. Also relaxation in age is given to reserved category candidates. |

Re: What type of government jobs i can apply for after my B.Tech in cse? Bank job is a good option for B.Tech CSE graduates. The positions in banks include PO/Specialist Officer etc. Government companies like BSNL, CDAC, BEL, BHEL etc also call for technical graduates for jobs. You need to obtain 60% marks to apply for these positions through written exams. CSE graduates can also apply for positions in Railways for which they need to clear RRB exams. If you are interested you can join defense sector also if you are able to pass CDS exam. IES, IAS, IPS post are also good options. |
