Well, you want to become a teacher in Physics..

For that you have to complete M.sc in Physics.

But friend, you have completed your graduation in arts where Physics is nowhere.

And to do M.sc in Physics, Graduation with Physics is a must.

Though the criteria varies from college to college.

For example...

In Amrita School of Arts & Sciences, the criteria is:

Graduation with Physics as main subject or with physics as one of the main subjects with an aggregate minimum of 50%.

In IIT Delhi,the criteria is:

Bachelor's degree with Physics as a subject for at least two years/ four semesters and Mathematics for at least one year/two semesters.

In Annamalai University,the criteria is:

A pass in B.Sc. Physics with Mathematics as ancillary course with 50% marks in Part-III examination.

So, Whatever be the criteria, B.sc in physics is must.

So you have to do b.sc in physics, then you can apply for m.sc in Physics and do a b.ed course, then you will be eligible for teaching Physics.

Dear
you need not to worry about the subjects taken by you in bsc,msc or bed. the more important is that how much percentage you have secure in it. you are having knowledge of many subjects and you can apply simply for lecturer. I think it is plus point for you for getting good job, but if your percentage ip too low then it can create problem for you.
With best wishes

Re: Graduation and Post Graduation in Different Subjects: What should I do now?

No problem dear,
If some one like any subject at start but dont find any thing interesting in that then one can switch the subject.
Like if some from electronics engineering enter into the software field.
OR
If some one completed Bsc/BE and then go for MBA.

So they are switching from the field.

In the same way you are also switching from the field.

So good luck for your new begining..........

no doubt, you have chosen a wrong combination. But still if you want to go for wildlife conservation you can join any museum job and can do some research work. For bioscience ,you can set up your own coaching institute and teach the bioscience students.

Since u have done B.Ed in Bio-science u can always apply for job in schools and junior college. For degree colleges, may be the wild life in Msc may create a hurdle which u can overcome by giving NET/SET exam by consulting with some senior professor.
