There are other qualifications which are needed to be satisfied along with the Age Limit are: >> Nationality >> Martial Status >> Education Qualification >> Physical Standard Qualification Needed: The candidate need to be a citizen of India The Martial Status needed for the exam is that the candidate must be a unmarried male candidate. For joining in OTA both married/unmarried male candidate is eligible. The education qualification needed for joining in Indian Military Academy/Officer Training Academy is that the candidate must have completed a degree from a recognized university and that can be with a fair percentage and in any discipline. Candidate need to be physically fit while appearing for the CDS Exam as it is very important. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CDS EXAM IS GIVEN BELOW: Age Limit'; 19-24 Years Indian Military Academy 19-22 Years Naval Academy 19-23 Years Air Force Academy 19-25 Years Officers’ Training Academy] Educational Qualification; • IMA & OTA- Degree of a recognized University or equivalent • Naval Academy- B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg • Air Force Academy- B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg Candidates who are appearing for the examination are also eligible |

Candidate must be graduate in any stream from recognized University with at least 60% marks. 2. Age Limitation: 19-24 years. 3. For this Year Both CDS Examination was already Completed and If your are Interested in This examintion then please Fill the Online Application form Soon Before the Last date Because the otification of Next year CDS (I) Examination was already Availiable in the UPSC Website Notification was already Published on 29/Oct/2011 and the Online Registration wasalready Started, the last date of apply for CDS Examination Online : 28/Nov/2011. The examination will be held on 12/Feb/2012. Eligiblity Criteria : Those Who are Interested in CDS Examination, may apply for These Academy- IMA (Indian Military Academy) >> Naval Academy >> Air Force Academy >> Officers Training Academy (OTA).To apply for CDS Examination, You have to complete your Graduate degree course form a recognised University. |

CDS exam is conducted by UPSC(union public service commission) * Candidates should be a graduate from a recognized university * Age limit must be within 19-22 years for Navy * For Navy candidates should be a graduate in engineering from a recognized university. * Age limit must be within 19-24 years for Army * For army candidates should be a graduate from a recognized university. * Age limit must be within 19-23 years for Air Force. * For air force candidates should complete 12th from a recognized institute. * Only unmarried male candidates are allowed for the exam * Final year can also attend the exam. Candidates age should be in between 19-24 years. Air force academy:- Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade but must have had maths and physics in 12th.. Age should be in between - 19-23 years. Naval academy:- Candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field.. Age should be in between 19-22 years. So, as per the eligibility your age should not be completed 24 years at the time of CDS exam 2012 then you can apply for Indian military academy section in CDS exam.. otherwise you will not be eligible.. Go for it... All the best... |
