 you can definitely give the IAS Civil Services Exam no matter you have completed your M.Com or not. This is because the educational qualifications that you should have in order to be eligible for the Civil Services Exam is that you must have a Bachelor`s Degree in any discipline from any recognized college/university. There is no need of how many marks secured in graduation level. If you are completed your post graduation, then you can go through with Civil Examination of IAS Information about Civil Examination Civil Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly once Eligibility Criteria for Civil Examination Candidates must have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university, final year students (appeared) also eligible for this examination, there is no percentage required for this examination Candidates age should between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates, 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates, 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates Candidates should be a citizen of India Selection Procedure for IAS 1. Eligibility criteria:- You should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university. Final year graduation candidates can also eligible. Percentage is not require for this exam. You must be a indian origin. Age criteria details:- For General candidates--> 21 years to 30 years, For OBC candidates--> 21 years to 33years, For SC/ST candidates--> 21 years to 35 years. Selection process:- -->Civil services preliminary examination, -->Civil services mains examination, -->Personal interview. As far as last date to fill the form is concerned, so far Union Public Service Commission has not issued the notification for the Civil Service Examination. The notification is released in Mid November of December. Therefore keep on tracking the UPSC official website and wait for the official notification. There will be complete procedure to apply for the Civil Service Examination. While the notification is released in November, the preliminary exam takes place next year in the month of May. Final exams follow couple of months later in August/September of the same year. Eligibility 1. You should be of Indian origin. Age Criteria 1. For general the age limit is 21 to 30 years. 2. Age limit for OBC is 21 to 33 years. 3. Age limit for SC/ST is relaxed by 5 years to 21 to 35 years. Education 1. A graduation degree is required. 2. There is no percentage criteria. Exam Pattern 1. This exam conducted by Union Public Service commission once in a year. ELIGIBILITY: Educational Qualification: Candidate should complete the Graduation from any recognized university. No minimum percentage required to this exam. Final year pursuing candidates are also eligible for this exam. Age limit: Candidate age limit should be between 21 to 30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable for this exam. 3 years age relaxation for the obc candidates. 5 years age relaxation for the sc/st candidates. Nationality: Candidate should live in India.
