I hope you are high on dope... After pursuing the toughest education in india the architects are paid pathetically bad. "Dihaadi wala majdoor" earns way better than architects in india.. Apart from miserably low wages there is no respect for the professionals and a complimentary exploitation is awarded for their overtimes. |

Re: Minimum salary of an Architect in India? I feel the information provided above is misleading. I passed out of a architecture college in 2012. And the starting salary seems to be close to Rs.12000 per month. 75% of my classmates are getting paid 12k a month. Around 20% are getting around 15k a month. And the corporate firms pay close to 18k~20k a month. Please don't mislead students into believing they get paid 30k~60k when they pass out. |

Re: Minimum salary of an Architect in India? dear friend, INDIAN ARCHITECT IF you are fresher you can get 7000-8000 per montn and later on it depends on your talent and creativity.Architect is the final deciding authority in planning and designing.Some architects are earning monthly 10-20 lakhs for month as incentives.There are many ways for a architect to earn.The market is good but you need to work for a ruputed firm in your initial years to get experience to gain practiacl experience. SO, keeping work hard |

Re: Minimum salary of an Architect in India? hi if u want to know that the salary of an Architect IN INDIA Then i want to tell you that the salary in india for an architect is lies between 25000 to 35000 for the fresher candidates and it is increasing as your qualification and experince is increases . but in foreign country Between July 2009 and November 2009, employment at American architecture firms dropped from 224,500 to 184,600, according to the US Department of Labor. And yet the US Department of Labor predicts that over the next ten years, employment of architects will increase more rapidly than the average for all occupations. thank you all the best |
