Hey friend,

There is nothing to be worried about the needed percentage to be got in 10th as it is not important as per the guidelines framed for the exam.

To join in as a IPS officer you need to write the entrance exam which is conducted for it and it is the IPS exam and to tell about this exam,it is conducted by UPSC and is held every year.

To write this exam you need to satisfy the criteria's framed for the exam.As per your qualification of 10th you are not eligible as you are way behind the needed qualification for applying.

According to the education qualification needed for writing the IPS Exam is that you need to have completed a degree from a recognized university with a fair percentage in any discipline.

So,there is nothing to be worried about the 10th percentage and apart from this qualification there are certain other qualification which are needed to be satisfied and they are:

>> You need to be a citizen of India

>> The age limit needed by a General category candidate is that you need to have 21-30 years of age.

>> If you are a Sc/St category candidate it is 21-35 years and for OBC it is 21-33 years

>> In the case of you being a Ex-service men means you will get 5 years excpetion from the prescribed limits

>> You need to be physically fit.

If you are satisfying them all then you are eligible for applying for the exam which can be done in 2 ways as:

-> Online

-> Offline
