My daughter has studied upto 10th cbse board in bangalore , karnataka. Now she is studying in UAE, after her 12th there she wòuld like to do her BVSC in karnataka.we parents hv done our degree in bangalore. Is she eligible to gv CET for veterinary science in bangalore, what is the procedure for the same.

My daughter is doing her 11th in UAE , but has done upto 10th in bangalore. Can she take up CET after her 12th in karnataka. We parents have done our degeee in bangalore and hv permanent address in bangalore. Pls gv us the details of the procedure if she is eligible to do her CET.

My daughter is a US citizen,She is aOCI holder.We are also US citizens.She is studying in India since 7th.Can she appear for the CET exam.Parents have completed their education in india.

I am also in the same situation, Both my kids have studied in karnataka from Lkg top PUC but are holders of US passport. Do u have any info on taking CET and getting general quota seats.

Hi Friend,


1.To appear for CET exam in Karnataka, you should have completed 12th from a recognized board under the Karnataka state.

2.You must have scored at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam.

3.The lower age limit for the exam is 17 years.

4.The engineering candidates must have studied English with PCM at the higher secondary level.

5.The medical candidate must have studied English with PCB.

6.The architecture candidate needs to have a good NATA score along with the CET score.

1 First class bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in
a) Electronics & Communication Engineering
b) Mechanical Engineering
c) Computer Science & Engineering
d) Chemical Engineering
e) Electrical Engineering
from a recognized University in respective/relevant discipline.

Age relaxation:There is maximum relaxation in upper age limit as under:-

a) Upto 05 years in case of SC/ST candidates
b) Upto 03 years in case of OBC candidates
c) Upto 05 years for Physically Handicapped Persons (10 years for SC/ST and 08 years for OBC candidates)
d) In case of Ex-serviceman, services rendered in the armed forces plus 3 years

Nationality

the person applying for DRDO should be a citizen of india only.

K.C.E.T exam is state level exam..

Eligibility criteria for K-C.E.T:-
> Pass 12th with Physics, chemistry and maths with minimum 50% marks.
> Must be above 17 year and below 25 year.
> Must be citizen of India an have domicile of Karnataka.

I have studied in Bangalore from 2nd class to 10th class and afterwards continued studies in Vijayawada (Andhra) and the course is MPC. My parents are still in Bangalore.
Please let me know, whether I am eligible for Karnataka CET as local candidate.
