The minimum educational qualification required to appear NATA is 12th or
equivalent(eg: Diploma). So, one is not eligible to appear the exam before doing
12th. However, You can apply for NATA when you would be appearing 12th boards.
The NATA examination requires a very specific type of preparation.
So, If you are thinking about appearing NATA in the coming years you should
start your preparation.
You cn get some study material : http://nata.dqlabs.in/?gclid=CNLp75Pxk6YCFcZ56wodyzn2Mw
You might require to register on the website to access the study material.
So you can register here.
You can prepare for drawing from Engineering Drawing books.
Ask for NATA specific books at book stores.
You will get the right book for preparation.

No friend, you have to be qualified in class 12, i.e. (as the statement says) 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/University with Mathematics as a subject of examination with the least 50% aggregate marks.

The details of Test Centers and NATA Registration will be made available at http://www.nata.in or http://www.niasa.org . With NATA, you can reach the IITs, NITs and other colleges conducting architectural course B.Arch

Documents required for Registration in the NATA are (make sure you have these)

* One recent passport size colour photograph, to be pasted on the registration form.
* Any valid document of identification bearing photograph and signature of the candidate – attested copy
* Test fees in the form of demand draft in favour of ‘Council of Architecture’ payable at New Delhi.
* Valid email address

Re: Can we give NATA exam after 10th standard?

Sorry friend but you can't apply for NATA just after passing your 10th because according to the eligibility criteria of NATA one must satisfy the following criteria :
(1)you must have either passed your 12th or equivalent exam with maths as one of the compulsory subject with at least 50% of marks from a recognized university.

(2) 10+3 diploma in any stream from a recognized institute of board with at least 50%.

so we can say that it is compulsory to do 12th in order to apply for NATA.
