Dear Anupam,

The acronym for AIEEE is All India Engineering Entrance Examination.

AIEEE examination is conducted every year by CBSE for those contendors who want to get admission for engineering course.

The eligibility criteria required for the AIEEE examination are prescribed as below:-


* Completion of 12th with Maths as a subject from any recognized board.

* Age limit:- 18-24 yrs.

* Nationality:- Indian.

The eligibility conditions for AIEEE are given as under:

Passing 10+2 or equivalent with physics, chemistry and maths as your prime subjects.

Score a least of 50% in average in your 10+2 exams.

You can sit a maximum of 3 times for AIEEE exams.

AIEEE stands for All India Engineering Entrance Examination.This exam is held every year once.

Eligibility criteria for AIEEE-2012 Exam:
Candidate should have complete 12th class PCM stream.
Candidate being to finish his PCM course this year can also eligible for AIEEE exam.

Important dates for AIEEE exam:
Yet there is no notification,but i think notification will release in the month of January.
And Exam expected to held on last week of April/First week of May.

ALL INDIA ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

CBSE (CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION),conducts this exam every yaesr for taking admission in best engineering colleges called NITs.

For appear in this exam you must have to complete your12th standard with PHYSICS CHEMISTRY, MATHS with at least 50% (10% relaxations for SC\ST\PH).

one can sit only three times in this exam.
the age limit for this exam is 17-25.

Eligibility Criteria for AIEEE 2012 Examination

* Candidates should be the citizen of India.
* Candidates should have complete 12th standard from a recognized institute.
* Candidates should get 50% at 12th.
* Candidates should have studied physics and maths as subject.
* Candidates should have age limit within 17 to 22 years.
* Candidates can appear AIEEE exam 3 times in a year.

The minimum percentage of marks required is 50% for oc 45% for obc and 40% for sc/st .

Hey friend,

The candidates who are finished their +2 with science stream are eligible for the exam and the candidates should have secured 50 % marks with Physics and mathematics as the compulsory. Students who wants to be architects are required to pass their +2 with aggregate of 50 % marks with Mathematics as a compulsory subject,Chemistry, Computer Science, Bio-Technology or Biology can be taken as optional subject.

Eligibility Criteria for AIEEE Exam is as under:-

For admission through AIEEE a candidate needs to pass in Class 12th. A candidate can only appear for AIEEE 2011 if he/she has passed/appearing class 12th in 2009, 2010 or 2011. Those who want to appear for BE/BTech entrance should compulsory have Physics and Mathematics in class 12th and at least one of the subjects among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Biology. Those appearing for architecture courses should have Mathematics in class 12th with at least 50% marks aggregate. Besides a candidate’s date of birth should be on or after 1st October, 1986. For SC/PH/ST candidates upper age is relaxed up to five years, i.e., candidates belonging to this category born on or after October 1st, 1981 are eligible to write this test.

Education Qualification:

i)10+2 pass in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
ii)Students who are appeared in their 10+2 exam may also apply for this exam.

The combination of subjects required for the course of B.Tech/B.Arch is given below:

Hello Friend,

The Eligibility for AIEEE 2011 is:

1.Qualifying Exam is Class 12th

2. For B.E./B.Tech. compulsory subjects in class 12th is Physics & Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects among Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science or Biology.

3. For B. Arch./B. Planning compulsory subject is Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level.

I have passed 12th exam with 61% aggregate but I dont have 50% (150 marks) in PCM added together. I have 146 marks in PCM out of 300. Am I still eligible to appear for AIEEE??
