You would only be called a Graduate after you complete the 4 years course. 3 year is the time duration for other Graduation course like BA/BSC/BCOM. Eligibilty to apply for the PO exams is: Graduation pass in any stream Age of the candidates should be between 21 and 30 years OBC and SC/ST candidates gets age relaxations of 3 and 5 years respectively So, apply for the BANK PO exams only after completion of your Graduation. |

But, your age must be 21-30 years however there is a provision of age relaxation for OBC(3 years) and SC/ST(5 years). Thanks........... |

P.O. - Probationary Officer, the exam for which is generally conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) for 19 Public Sector banks. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation Degree exam in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good knowledge over computer operation. Hence all Graduate from any stream of education having above required eligibility criteria can apply for Bank P.O. exam. Bank PO examination is conducted by SBI(State Bank of India) and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personnel Selection). The educational qualification regarding with Bank PO examination are below mentioned:- * A candidate must be finished graduation in any discipline from any recognised college/university. * Age criteria- The age of a candidate must be lie in between 21-30 years(for SBI) and 20-30 years(for IBPS). * Age relaxation- 3 years(OBC) and 5 years(SC/ST). Different banks conducts their own exam Bank PO exam and the basic eligibility criteria of most of the banks is more or less the same. There can be slight difference in the question pattern but the core of the syllabus again is basically the same. After getting selected you will work on probation for two years during which your performance level will be thoroughly scrutinized. After which you may get promoted to better post. Bank PO Exam Eligibility Criteria: Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen to be considered eligible. Educational Qualification: You need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university from a recognized institution or a university. Therefore students from arts,commerce and science background all can come and give this exam. Age Limit: Your age should be less than 21 years when applying for this exam. Again the upper age limit for the exam is 30 years. This criteria is only applicable for the general category. For the reserved category there is are relaxation. Age relaxation:  Apart from having a bit of fluency in english and the ability to write and read english you should also know how to handle computers. At least the basic knowledge to deal with computers for performing basic activities is required. Selection Procedure: Written Examination Group Discussion/Interview For the written exam you will get both objective type questions and descriptive questions. Apart from the english paper you will get to write all other papers in either hindi or english. They are bilingual. There is negative marking. For every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted from your original score. Dear friend If you are interested in bank examination Then I should tell you that all graduate candidate can apply for bank PO examination But for some banks there are percentage criteria like SBI,PNB etc, These banks need 60% marks in graduation. So for those banks PO examination the candidate should have 60% marks in graduation. I think you have understood that terms and conditions. Best of luck........... |

The candidate who have completed his/her graduation either of duration 3 years or 4, doesn't matter, can apply for the post of PO in any bank. But there are certain Limitations to apply, like: 1. Must attained minimum 55% marks in graduation. 2. Age Limit: 18-28 years. Thanks. |

Dear Friend, No , all graduated students are not eligible for Bank PO Exams because there are certain restrictions or eligibility criteria that you have to fulfill so as to be eligible for the exam. These eligibility criteria are mentioned below : * You must have passed your graduation with a minimum of 55% marks from any recognized college/university. * Your age should lie in between 18-28 years. So , first of all you have to check the above mentioned and if you fulfill these criteria , then graduated students are eligible otherwise not. Now, As per your second question, i would like to tell you that yes , engineering students who are in final year are also eligible for the exam if they fulfill the above mentioned age criteria and do not have any backlogs in any of your semesters. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |

Are all graduated students eligible for bank PO test? sir, generally all graduation completed persons are eligible for bank PO test. In casse engineering students are completed their degree for 4 years. my question is after completion of 3 year can eligible for bank PO test or not. |
