No there is no such restriction in GATE exam only eligibility is you must be in final year or passed your bachelor's degree b.tech/B.E/B.arch.GATE score is valid for 2 years

Dear Friend,

No there ia no limit for the gate exam....here is the full information about it.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is a national level eligibility test for M.Tech aspirants. Even the candidates who wants to get jobs in PSUs should have a GATE rank card.The exam is one of the most toughest exam thus needs very hard work.

The rank card of GATE will be valid for 2 years only.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

>>There is no age limit for appearing in GATE exam but there is age limitation according to different PSUs.

>>The candidates who have a bachelor degree in B.Tech/B.E/B.Arch can apply for the exam

>>The final year candidates of B.E/Tech/Arch can also apply.

>>The candidates who are having a Master degree in Science/Mathematics/Computer Science/Statistics can also apply.

>>The final year candidates of Master degree can also apply.

>>There is no minimum percentage needed.

No, there are no such restriction rules for GATE examination as other examinations.

There is no minimum percentage requirement to be eligible for the exam, if you are just passed, even then you can apply.

Also, there is no age restriction for GATE. GATE score is valid for 2 years.

The only criteria is, must have completed B.tech or Msc in any branch of science/mathematics/statistics .

GATE score is acknowledged by lot of institutes other than IITs/IIsc. Many NITs also admit on the basis of gate score. Most of the private institutes consider GATE ranking for admission.

GATE score is now also required for recruitment in PSUs. So, wait for the notification and then apply, please prepared well to cracked this examination with good marks.

1. For gate there is limit of appearing like for oter exams
2. There is no restriction about the age and marks percentage
3. The candidate must complete b.tech or MCA or M.Sc in maths, physics, chemistry or statistics
4. The GATE score card is valid for 2 years

No, there are no such restriction rules for GATE examination

if you are just passed OR in the pressuring year even then you can apply.

GATE score is valid for 2 years.

eligibility criteria:-

Bachelor degree holders in Engineering Technology OR Architecture
(4 years after 10+2)/Computer application.

OR


Master degree holders in any branch of Science OR Mathematics OR
Statistics OR Computer Applications OR equivalent .

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)
is an all India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering and Technology.
GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi,
IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee)

The score is used for admissions to various post-graduate programmes ,(eg. M.E., M.Tech, direct Ph.D.)

The following categories of candidates are eligible to appear in GATE:


>> Bachelor degree holders in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture
(4 years after 10+2)/Computer application.

>> Final year candidates are also eligible .

>> Master degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/
Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent .

>> Candidates of any technical field can give exams.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering.This exam is conducted by IIT's every year to provide post graduation course for qualified students in the GATE exam.

Eligibility criteria for GATE exam:
Education Qualification:You should have completed or in final year of B.Tech with any stream from a recognized university.
Age Limit: No age limit
Number of attempts:Unlimited attempts

GATE exam notification will release in the month of October and exam will held on January every year.And exam result will out in the month of March and rank card will release from June month.Rank card will be valid for two years.

There are no limits and you can appear for it but only the following can apply for it
The following categories of candidates are eligible to appear for GATE :
Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final year of such programmes.
Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture (Post-B.Sc./Post-Diploma) and those who are in the final year of such programmes.
Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final year of such programmes.
Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master's degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology.
Candidates in the fourth or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master's degree programme or Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology.
Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by Institute of Engineers (India); AMICE by Institute of Civil Engineers (India)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible.
