Himachal Administrative Service Examination Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission recruits suitable candidates for various administrative posts in the state of Himachal Pradesh through HAS examination. You can be certain that arts graduates are equally eligible for this examination. Take a look on the eligibility criteria Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification Any Indian national who hold a bachelor's degree from a recognised university irrespective of the discipline can apply. Age Limit Candidates should be at least 21 years of age. Upper age limit is 35 years. Reserved category candidates get 2 years relaxation in the maximum age limit i.e. 37 years of age is the limit. As usual like all other public service examination it has three stages. First stage is preliminary examination. Paper has two sections general studies and optional subject. Successful candidates will be then permitted to write Mains examination. It has total 8 papers. 4 paper is optional subjects and other 4 are compulsory subjects. Compulsory subjects are English, Hindi, Essay and General studies. You can track the notification of the examination in the website http://himachal.gov.in
