Date For SBI Bank PO Exam

The next State Bank of India Probationary Officer's Exam is scheduled to take place on 28th April,2013

Last date to submit the forms offline was 23rd February,2013

The last for receiving of the forms in the online mode is 28th February,2013

I have attached the latest notification of the SBI PO Exam along with this post for your reference..

You need to have atleast the following minimum qualifications to be able to appear for the PO Exam :-

SBI-State Bank of India.

Eligibility Criteria:-

The candidate should be complete graduation or any equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

You don't have any percentage requirements to apply this exam.

The candidate should be a Indian origin.

Age criteria:-

The age limits are 21 years to 30 years,

3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates,

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

10 years age relaxation for PWD candidates.

Selection process:-

Written exam,

Personal interview.

Syllabus for written exam:-

General english,

Numerical ability,

General awareness with banking knowledge,

You should be citizen of india.

You should complete the Graduation from any recognized university with any stream.

You required the percentage is minimum 60% of marks.

The age limit should be between 21 to 30 years.

SBI is conducting BANK PO exam for this year 2013 for probationary officers,eligible candidates can apply for it.The last date for this is february 23,2013.

Eligibilty:-Any graduate from recognised college.
age limit:-Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.01.2013
>3 years in the case of OBC candidates can be relaxed while for SC it is 5 years.

Exam fees:-

general candidates will have to pay 200/- Rupees.
SC/ST/PWD - Rs 50/- only.

Important dates for SBI PO:-

1.payment (online): 30.01.2013 TO 23.02.2013

2.payment(offline):01.02.2013 TO 28.02.2013

3.Date of written exam:-28.04.2013

By the way, this examination consists of two phases:-

first: there will be a written test for 250 marks, 200 objective ,50 marks -descriptive.

second:group discussion(20 marks),interview(30 marks)

The SBI has recently announced that it is going to conduct a PO examination for 1544 PO posts.

The Schedule Of The SBI PO Exam 2013 is :

* Online Registration Of Application : 30/01/2013 - 23/02/2013

* Online Payment Of Fees : 30/01/2013 - 23/02/2013

* Offline Payment Of Fees : 01/02/2013 - 28/02/2013

* Date Of Written Examination : 28/04/2013

The Pattern Of The Examination :

The Eligibility Criteria For This Exam [As on 01/01/2013] are :

a) Must have completed graduation in any stream from any recognized university.

b) Age must lie in between 21-30 years.

c) There is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years for OBC Candidates and of 5 years for SC/ST Candidates and of 10 years for Physically handicapped.

Although the rest of the public sector banks are conducting exams through IBPS CWE, State Bank of India conducts its own exam. There is a high advantage in working in State Bank of India in terms of high salary and allowances. Whoever wants to pursue a career in the banking sector, they should go for State bank of India recruitment exam.

This year's notification has already been released regarding the vacancy of probationary officers. Total number of vacancy is 1500. The exam is due in April.

SBI PO Exam Criteria:-

Educational Qualification:- You need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. You need to get the minimum pass marks at UG level.

Age Limit:- The lower age limit is 21 years. The upper age limit is 30 years for general category candidates.

Age Relaxation:- For reserved category candidates there is age relaxation. It is 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Selection Procedure:- The exam takes place in two phases mainly:

1. Written Examination
2. Group Discussion and Interview

Examination Pattern:- The written examination consists of one objective test and descriptive test. The objective test is of 200 marks and lasts for two hours while the descriptive test is of 100 marks and lasts for one hour.

There is four sections in the objective section and it is important to pass in each and every section. The descriptive part mainly deals with english and you need to write comprehension, short precis, letter writing and essay for a given topic.

I have submitted wrong marks in graduation ,67% instead of 70% in SBI bank PO form. And finally submitted the form & also paid the fees in 2013 SBI bank PO.My question is that can i should appear for the exams?If i will select then what can i do for this error.

SBI PO is one of the most desired exams in the country and so there are a lot of aspirants for the same. State Bank of India conducts two entry level exams i.e :

CLERICAL
PROBATIONARY OFFICER

So the Basic Eligibility Criteria to take up the PO Exam is that you should be a minimum graduate in ANY stream from a recognized university. Also your age should be within 20-28 years. You must have good computer knowledge as well..

The paper consists of 4 sections : Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, English and General Awareness, Banking and Computer Knowledge. Its of 200 marks paper

After that the total marks are out of 250, on the basis of which the candidates are shortlisted for the GD/PI.

Candidates who have passed graduation degree from recognized university are eligible to go for SBI Bank PO exam. And yest your age must be within the limits i.e 21 to 30 years of age. Registration for Online application started from Mid May 2011, Online registration were till 9th of June 2011 and Written test was on 24th of July 2011.So you can expect notification for SBI PO in the month of April May 2013.

The SBI PO notification might come in January 2013 so you have to wait for the official announcement.

But till then you must keep yourself busy in preparation of the exam.

Sooner or later the examination dates will be announced by SBI .

For SBI PO you must be Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university.

The age limit for SBI PO is 18 to 30 years for General Category .

Age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years , 3 years for OBC , 10 years for PWD and age relaxation is also available for Ex servicemen.

The paper pattern of SBI PO is objective type in nature . There are five sections in paper:

-Quantitative Aptitude

-English Language Skills

-General Awareness

-Marketing and Computer Aptitude

-Reasoning Aptitude

Each section will have equal number of questions. Each correct answer will get you 1 mark and wrong answer will give you minus 0.25 mark. Hence you have to be careful while attempting.

There will be sectional cutoff and you have to pass seperately in every section then only you will be called for interview.

In the Banking PO entrance examination the question paper mainly consist of the following topics : Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness, English. The computer knowledge is also necessary for the bank PO entrance examination.
