 The acronym for VAO is Village Administrative Services. VAO examination is conducted by TNPSC(Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) every year. The eligibility criteria required for the VAO examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of 10th from any recognised board. or, * Completion of 12th from any recognised board. or, * Completion of graduation in any discipline from any recognised college or university. * Age limit:- 21-30. * Age relaxation:- 5 yrs for OBC and 10 yrs for SC/ST contendors. * Contendors should possess knowledge of Tamil. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Conducts the VAO Examination. The Age Limits For VAO Exam are : * Minimum Age Limit : 21 years * Maximum Age Limit : 30 years The above mentioned age limit is for candidates who belong to General Category. The Age Relaxations For VAO Exam are : * For OBC Candidates : 5 years * For SC/ST Candidates : 10 years * For Physically Handicapped : 10 years The Other Qualifications Required For VAO Exam are :  This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. (or) You should Complete 12th standard (or) Equivalent Examination in any discipline from recognized Univeristy . (or) You should Complete Bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized Univeristy . Note :- You should Compulosry having Tamil Language Age Limit :- Your age should not be less than 21 years not be more than 30 years and relaxation will applicbale for sc/st candidates for 10 years Important Notifcaiton regarding this Examination published in Employement news paper and Official website for TNPSC . TNPSC VAO(Village Administrative Officers) Exam Eligibility Criteria for VAO Exam Age limit: As on 1st July 2012 age limit for General and Unreserved category candidates is 21 (twenty one) years to 30 (thirty) years and candidates who are from SC, BC, MBCs, DCs, BCMs and DWs cast minimum age limit is same but maximum age limit could be 40 (forty) years. Educational qualification: As on 9th July, 2012 applicant must have secondary school leaving certificate (SSLC) or its equivalent qualification. Knowledge of Tamil Language required. Applicant should be physically fit for this exam, when required produce a physical fitness certificate in form of TNMS, TNJMS or TNSS. |
