Re: Shall I do CA course after completion of 10+2? If you are interested, you can certainly apply for CA course after completing 12th class. You should register for CA course after completing 10th class. CA course involves 3 different levels. CPT is the entry level exam which you can appear after completing 12th class. If you qualify in CPT, you can apply for the second level which is IPCC. The final course in CA can be attended only after qualifying IPCC. |

The course however, can be pursued by students from any stream but it should not be opted by those with little or average understanding of accounting and the sub-fields. So, if you think you can give it a try, you should go for it and in order to pursue the course, you will have to qualify common proficiency test conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a mandatory entrance test for students willing to pursue the course.Students who scores a minimum of 50% marks in this test are only eligible to pursue the course. Qualifying the test will enable you to register for the Integrated Professional Competence Course which will be followed by the Final Course, Articleship Training, Computer Training and General Management course.
