Re: How to get central wide government job? I am pursuing my B.tech 3rd year in EEE branch.i want to settle in my life with govornment job.Am i eligible for any job regarding government sector now in my 3rd year? |

Thus as per your Education You should apply for IES(Indian Engineering Services) Exam. Basic Requirements for IES Educational qualification:- -->>You should be Engineering(of 4 years) passed out from Recognized university. -->>Your degree should be approved from the AICTE. Age :- -->>Your minimum age should be 21 years. -->>Your age should not be above 28 years. Exam Syllabus for IES :- Objective paper -->>General Ability Test & General Studies - Total duration 2 hours. -->>Engineering Paper I - Total duration of this paper will be 2 hours. -->>Engineering Paper II - Total duration of this paper will be 2 hours. Conventional Paper -->>Engineering Paper I- Total duration of this paper will be 3 hours. -->>Engineering Paper II - Total duration of this paper will be 3 hours. Marks :- -->>Total Marks for Objective Paper will be of 600. -->>Total Marks for Conventional Paper will be of 600. |

Re: How to get central wide government job? You can look for a central Govt job by qualifying IES exam. GATE qualified candidates can try for jobs in PSU like IOCL, GAIL, SAIL and NTPC. You can also look for jobs in defense. Certain positions in Naval Academy are exclusively meant for engineering graduates. In banks, you can join to the position of Specialist Officer. |

How to get central wide government job? at present am doing engeneering 3rd year ECE.my goal is to get central wide government job .but i dont no how to prepare and for what to prepare |
