Dear friend,

Don't be tensed so much. Your preparation will be good as you are really keen about this course.

In this entrance test , generally your skill in movie arts and other techniques are being checked.
Moreover, your aptitude skill and knowledge about the current affairs are asked in the personal interview and as well as in the written test.

For online study materials and other related helps please visit the site:
kalakaksha.net/FTII_test_papers.htm

This will really help you to prepare well and guide you through the model test papers.

All the best!

Re: FTII entrance for Diploma in Acting: how to prepare, which books to follow?

you need to have thorough knowledge in the field of film and television such as :::

The basics of photogaphy and cinematography .

Knowledge on recent events and developments in literature and cinema .

some questions are like writing a story from a picture ,drawing a different view for a given picture , etc.

for more information regarding the exam , you can visit
http://www.ftiindia.com

attachments are provided regarding the paper pattern and 2006 paper will give you a more clear picture on that ...

Just try to improve your knowledge as much as you can ..

Now as the days of exam coming closer and closer , so try to solve atleast one practice paper a day and than analyze it thoroughly ..

All the best !!
cheers
