hi friend,

LLB course is a very vast course. Either you can do LLB after 12th or you can also do it after Graduation.
If you'll do it after 12th then you'll have to go for 5 years LLB course and after graduation you'll have to go for only 3 years LLB course.
But minimum you require 50% in 12th or graduation and from a recognised college or university.

good luck

Re: Career in law? how one can get inter in law courses/degrees.

Hi...
After doing law,you can go for:-
1.Private practice.
2.Government counsel.
3,Corporate counsel

Besides these,a law degree can enable entry into many careers outside of the legal profession, including the following:

•Broadcasting
•Business
•Civil Service
•Education
•Finance
•Insurance
•Journalism
•Policy Analysis
•Politics
•Publishing
•Social Work

After your 12th,you can take admission in best law institutes through CLAT exam i.e,Common Law Admission Test which is conducted once in a year.
Through CLAT,you can take admission in National Law Institutes.
Besides this, there are many good colleges which conduct their own entrance exam.
Some of the colleges also take admission on 12th result.
Best of luck.
Thanks.

Re: Career in law? how one can get inter in law courses/degrees.

Career in Law is definitely a challenging and exciting one for those who make it as his profession as a Lawyer. One can serve the mankind as a Lawyer by advocating on behalf of the common man to make necessary changes in Rules and regulation which is good for the society.

By graduating from a good Law school one can get opportunity to serve in big Companies as corporate Lawyer.

The Law can be pursed in two ways:-

After 12th with 50% marks from a recognised Board one can purse five years Integrated Law for which the candidate has to appear for entrance exam like CLAT(Common Law Admission Test)

After Graduation in any discipline one can purse three years Law course.

Re: Career in law? how one can get inter in law courses/degrees.

There is very good carreer in the law so you need not have to worry for that..........

Most law colleges today admit students for the 5 year course on the basis of an entrance exam.

Some colleges like GLC Mumbai and ILS Pune admit students directly based on their performance in the qualifying exams (10+2 or its equivalent).

So you may or may not have to give the exam for the admission in the LAW colleges.

Re: Career in law? how one can get inter in law courses/degrees.

dear friend,
u can pursue law both after 12th and graduation.....after 12th it takes only 5 years while after graduation it takes 3 year... but the point is after ur graduation or PG, u can decide easily as to which branch of law suits u ....like some hit combinations are CS+LLB(business law),MSW+LLB(human rights),MS(ENVIRONMENT SCIENCE) + LLB(ENVIRONMENT LAW), B.Com or CA or CMA +LLB(taxation), BA(POL SC)+INTERNATIONAL LAW.
if u really know wat type of lawyer u want to be then go for law after 12 and if u dont then first pursue ur graduation

A law degree can open the door to a wide variety of careers. Lawyers play an important role in society through the practice of law, which encompasses a multitude of activities.
