I am working in coal india presently posted Ranchi Jharkhand.I am born in Maharashtra and done SSC /HSC and BDS from Maharashtra .My daughter is born in maharashtra,but have passed class 10th from Army Public School Jharkhand and presently in 12th class in Jharkahnd only.I have property in the form of a land in Nagpur and our Permanent Adress is of Nagpur only in Adhar cards.On the basis of her birth place,my property and permanent address in Adhar card ,is my daughter eligible to get a residential or Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra State???

My son studied from Sr. KG to 10th Std in Thane and 11th 12th in Andhra Pradesh.
Now applying for MHT-CET-2016.

What should I fill in the application:
7. Candidate is Domicile of* O Maharashtra O Outside Maharashtra

For your Kind information I would like to inform you that there is No Domicile requirements to apply for MAH-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test).this exam is taken for taking admission in Maharashtra Engineering colleges for :-
  1. Bachelor in Technology (B.Tech)
  2. Bachelor of Architecture courses.
Eligibility requirements

Educational Qualification :
  • Candidates who will apply for this entrance test should have a minimum educational qualification of 10+2 pass out with science stream from recognized board/university.
  • Candidates combination of subjects in 10+2 should be Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Candidates compulsory subject in 10+2 should be English.
Marks :
  • Candidates who comes under the General/OBC category should have a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 level.
  • Candidates who comes under the SC/ST category should have a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 level.
Exam Pattern
  • This entrance test will include two papers.
  • Each paper will include 100 questions.
  • Each paper will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Total marks for each paper will be of 100 Marks.
Exam Syllabus for MAH-CET


PAPER I :
  • Physics - 50 Questions.
  • Chemistry - 50 Questions.
PAPER II :
  • Mathematics - 100 Questions.

I am a central govt class - I officer with transferrable job. How many years my son has to study in Maharashtra before he can be considered a local candidate in Maharashtra for admission in Engg under state quota?

We are staying in Maharashtra from last 5 years. my son did his 10th(CBSE) and 12th grade(Maharashtra state board) from Thane. Is he eligible for MHTCET exams?

What is the procedure to get a domicile certificate of Maharashtra. Last 10 years we are living in Mumbai and my daughter's Primary, Secondary and Higher secondary education is been done from Maharashtra(CBSE). How and whom to approach for Domicile certificate.

I am in Government Job. My wife and I, were born and studied in Maharashtra. But for about 9 to 10 years we were posted at places out of Maharashtra. Our Children traveled with us and studied at various schools wherever we were posted.
