Madurai Kamaraj University MA in Sociology-Study of Urban and Rural Sociology (Paper-V) Exam – Download Previous Year’s Question Papers Sociology deals with the evolvement of a society right from the beginning of time with developing cultures, environment and also circumstances. This study of society can be really interesting when it is on the basis of different regions and also distinguished amidst the urban and rural life. The special paper on the Study of Urban and Rural Sociology specifically focusses upon the evolution of communities and the way they are coping with different changes with regards to their settlement being in either rural or urban area. Some of the wide variety of topics taught under this paper within the course of study of Sociology are differences between urban and rural society, Concentric Zone Theory, process of urbanisation in India, determining factors of living environment in the city, Jajmani system, Lead bank programme short term loan organisational structure of DRDA, analysis of change in social life due to urbanisation, occupational structure in rural India etc. Each Question can fetch you a maximum 20 marks, but being descriptive one you have to write very good answer to get the maximum.
