Re: Required Eligibility criteria to apply for UPSC Exam?

Dear Jaytosh,

The acronym for UPSC is Union Public Services Commission.

First of all, I would like to tell you that your query is incomplete.

I would like to inform you that UPSC is not an examination on the contrary UPSC is a service commission which that conducts civil services examinations every year.

UPSC conducts a lot of examination so to inform about all those examinations, which are conducted by UPSC, is impossible for our forum members.

So, I would like to request you that you resend your query and inform us that about which examination details you want to know.

Re: Required Eligibility criteria to apply for UPSC Exam?

hi
there is no percentage limit for giving the upsc exam. you just need to be a passed student from a recognized Indian university. And your age should be in between 21-30 years for general category.
If you’re from the obc category, your age limit would be 21-33 years and if you belong to the sc/st category, then your age limit would be 21-35 years of age.
The number of attempts are
4 for the general category
7 for the obc category and there is no restriction for the sc/st category students.
Gud luck
