I would like to know about the best institutions like IIM for taking MBA.
What changes can these institutions make.

Well you wanna do you MBA after M.tech right.
You can go for that but i won't suppose that you'll be upper hand.
what ever the importance given to b.tech+MBA and you'll get the same..

Hi

I am not sure about what you were trying to ask. Your question and explanation are not similar. Anyways first of all its really good that you are doing B.Tech. This is one of the top courses for graduation which is available in the market.

After that if you ask whether you can do M.Tech and MBA WHILE doing B.Tech then I am sorry that you CANNOT. No other graduation or post graduation courses can be done simultaneously. You have to finish your B.Tech first, then do M.Tech and ONLY then after that you can do MBA.

Talking of the courses MBA is Master's in Business Administration and M.Tech stands for the Masters of Technology. These two are BOTH post graduation courses and are of 2 years duration. You can do one at a time but not both together. Thus as of now, I would suggest you concentrate on the course in hand and worry about these exams, courses and entrances in your final year.

Also I must tell you that these 3 courses are heavy and its a lot of qualification to handle. You should be able to handle it well. Many companies consider such qualifications as OVER QUALIFIED ! So you may not get the pay you expect after all the academic hard work that you have put in. But yeah considering the fact that you have studied so much, you will not get less a salary that much I can say.

Also questions maybe put up to you that you have done technical graduation and post graduation, then WHY MBA? If you wanted to go for MBA, then why did you opt for M.Tech? As these things show that you have no goals of what you want to become in life. Its like blindly collecting qualifications.

So consider all these before you make the final calls.

All the best

Re: Will I be able to do M.Tech and then MBA while doing B.Tech CSE?

After B.Tech you may go for MBA as well as after M.Tech also you may go for MBA. But for both the case MBA will be considered with your technical degree.

Obviously if you study more it is beneficial for your career prospective but not from the job prospective. You will get same salary and same designation if you do MBA after B.Tech or MBA after M.Tech. But if you do M.Tech then it will be more helpful for you to work in the organization.

So in this prospective it is beneficial. But I will suggest you after B.Tech try to appear in all MBA entrance examination. If you can clear any MBA entrance examination with good rank then take admission in a good MBA institution after B.Tech.But if you don't get chance in a good institution and if you are good in technical then go for M.Tech as well as be well prepared for MBA entrance examination for next year.

I think you should first decide what you want to do in your future. If you want to do MBA then please try to be prepared from now from your B.Tech level. But if you are good in technical knowledge and if you want to built your career in technical field then go for M.Tech. In MBA with technical degree you will be able to manage people those will work in technical field but you will not be able to work there directly. Now you decide what you want to become.

Best of luck.
