Re: Which is better between IIT bomber for M.Tech or PSU?

i got GATE 2011 AIR 15 in ece..i joined mtech in iit bombay microelectronics...in 2012 i got air 23 and got selected in BHEL..but i did not got placed in IITB becoz of my low cpi i.e 7.5...so if you are very much hard working then go for IIT else prefer psu..now i m an iitian ended in psu..to have good family life and maintain good relations psu is best option...

Hello,

Obviously Go for the first option.

Getting a seat at IIT is a gods grace.

The plecements at IITs are too good when compared to PSU jobs.

Even after getting a degree you will be recruited at top level companies with salary package more than 40 lakhs per annum.

So wisely choose the first option.

Thank you!!!

If you get IIT's like Bombay or Kanpur then go for it !
Because PSU will offer you around 8-14 lakh but once you get into IIT trust me you will earn more than that 100% . Just lok up at IIT Bombay Placement status. People are getting 20-30lakh per year easily and there is a great chance that you may get a job in abroad. Brother I'm studying in IIT Bombay M.Tech final year and telling you frommy experience. Don't blow the chance to become an IIT'ian . The certificate which you will get is even valuable that any of these psu's are paying!
Choose wisely and if you are getting a good IIT then dont blow you chance.

All the very best for future

In my point of view

You should go for PSU because after completing your M-Tech you will again go for a job in PSU.

So why to waste money and time when you can get a job in PSU directly.

All The Best

Congratulations!!

Its purely depends on your interest whether you want to do job or want further studies.
PSU are very good choice for secure and well salaries. many are there like BHEL, NTPC, HAL, NTPC, BPCL and even HPCL is offering a package of 12 Lac P.A for freshers.
So, its good to join PSU if ur willing to work and you will be getting experience.
If you want that you should be doing some research work in industries and want to become a scientist then join IITs and do your M tech and thn Phd that will make ur career.
now hope it will be simple for you to decide PSU or M Tech.
