Re: Can I get a government or private job after passing Mechanical engineering with 77% and 12th with 70.8% HI FRIEND ## There are several oppertunities for Mechanical engineering graduates to get job in government sector and also in IT INDUSTRY companies ## With 77% of marks in mechanical engineering, you can apply for GRADUATE ENGINEER POST in Core companies like ~>HPCL ~>NTPC ~>ONGC ~>GAIL ~>IOCL etc and to get this job, you must secure good GATE examination score because these core companies do not conduct the written test but consider the GATE exam score to shortlist the candidates ## You can also apply for government sector jobs like ~>Regional Transport Officer & Assistant motor vehicle inspector posts ~>Civil Services,Combined Defence Services and Indian Engineering Services examinations conducted by UPSC ~>Jobs in banking industry like Clerk,Probetionary Officer and Specialist Officer posts ~>HSL and CGL examinations conducted by Staff Selection Commission ## By doing programming language courses like JAVA,HTML,C++ and AUTO CAD etc, you can apply for assistant software engineer post in IT SECTOR companies like ~>COGNIZANT ~>TCS ~>TECH MAHINDRA ~>ACCENTURE etc and to get this job, you must have good communication skills ** ALL THE BEST ** |

You are eligible for both government and private jobs. Private company would be conducting their own individual exams. For that you need to look at the job portal regularly All the government company are taking candidates via GATE exam. GATE exams are conducted by IIT every year on 2nd Sunday of February. Forms are available in November. Score more in GATE to get government jobs All the best |

You can apply in defence by giving CDS exam. If you want to get a good job in company,then firstly take the experience of minimum 2 years in any company belonging to your stream. After taking the experience,you can easily get a good job in a limited or multiplex company. Hi friend , noted that in this type of experience matter more than your marks. BEST OF LUCK |
