Around 4 percent of students in United States for higher studies are foreign students. The biggest hurdle that most students not just foreign but US citizens face is financing. Cost of education in United States is very high which is unaffordable for a lot of people. This is the reason why not everyone can get admission in US colleges. You are required to give financial assurance well in advance before you get visa to study in United States. The most obvious thing here for students is either take education loan or go for scholarships. There are scholarships available for Indian students who want to pursue higher education in United States but very few of them are for under graduate course. Most scholarships are for masters and PhD course therefore your chances of getting an scholarship is not too bright. Saying that there are scholarships for undergraduate students but you will have to prove eligibility for that. Firstly you need to score at least 95 percent marks in the CBSE 12th. Secondly you should have good command over the English language which is also critical for studying in United States. Unless you meet these basic requirements, there is no way you are going to get any scholarship to study in United States. I've just passed 12th std from CBSE i will pass my cbse 12th class examination in year .i have an urdent desire to study in usa.but my parents can't afford the spendings.what should i do in favour to fulfill my dream with flying colours? |
