Dear Friend,

Yes you can switch from ICSE to CBSE by presenting following documents
to the CBSE school to which you are switching-

1- Pass certificate of 9th class from ICSE.

2- Transfer Certificate.

3- Character Certificate.

4- Bonafide Certificate.

You must also convince the school with a proper reason of transfer.

Thank You.

Don't worry you can easily change your daughter school
CBSE BOARD is reputated board in india
so in my suggestion your decision to change your daughters school is gonna be right

First of all collect some certificates
** migration certificate
** character certificate
** 7th class report card
Now just go in any cbse school of your choice and then submit all documents with passport size photo of your daughter then, school staff will gave you directions one by one
Thank you for choosing ealp

Raj Manchanda.
Yes , there is a possibility to switch from ICSE to CBSE board , before 10th exam board . But i would like to mention here some ill effects of switching ICSE to CBSE or visa-vis , there is a probability that your child won't be able to score good marks in CBSE board as he or she is new to that board , and it will require some time for a child to manage or rather to understand a syllabus of CBSE board.

So i would request you not to change the board , yes you can change the school which is affiliated to ICSE board only so that your child can study in that environment which he is used to.

But still you want to change the board , then you need to submit a letter with letter of transfer of certificate and also undersigned by school of Principal with the letter of character certificate of your child.

Re: Is it possible to switch from ICSE to CBSE?

Yes, its very much possible.
There is no hard and fast rule that if a student is studying in ICSE board then you cannot transfer him to a school affiliated to CBSE.

You just need the usual documents that the current school issues like the character certificate, Migration certificate, transfer certificate etc. and submit them to the new school.

Yes you can definitely change the board of your child's school if you want to.

You will be requiring the following documents:
1.Transfer Certificate.
2.School Leaving Certificate.
3.The mark sheet of the previous year.
4.Also a Bonafide Certificate or the Birth Certificate and even Proof of identity(telephone, electricity bill) i.e only if required.

Re: Is it possible to switch from ICSE to CBSE?

I am a native of Kerala State and was working in BSNLin Kerala. Recently I was transferred to Banglore. I have two sons studying in a cbse school in 6th and 2nd
standard resp in Kerala. The children wish to get the admission in ICSE school at Banglore in the next academic year(2012-2013). In addition to the normal procedure in
the schools, is it needed any other certificate from the board than the transfer certificate(TC)from shool, as the case is (1) an inter state transfer
(2) change of board.
