Re: Which books are to be referred to prepare for NDA? Hi friend............. NDA stands for National Defense Service. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year. NDA - I NDA - II NDA has three wings:- Indian army, Indian airforce, Indian navy. Eligibility criteria:- The applicant should be complete 12th standard or it's equivalent from a recognised university. Percentage is not required for this exam. Applicant must be a citizen of India. The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years and no upper age relaxation. For India Airforce and Navy you need to complete 12th standard with PCM subjects but no need for Indian army. Only unmarried and male candidates are eligible. Female candidates are not eligible. Selection procedure:- Written exam, SSB interview, Medical test. The acronym for NDA is National Defence Academy. This exam conducted by the UPSC two times in a year. NDA eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised board or university. There is no requirements on percentage criteria. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. Girls are not eligible. The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years, no relaxation in age. The candidate must be physically fit. Applicant should be a citizen of India. Selection process:- Written exam, SSB interview, Medical test. If you are interested in pursuing a career in defense then you can sit for this exam which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. ~This exam is conducted twice a year and by successfully cracking this one you can enter the following academies: Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy. ~This exam is only for the unmarried male citizens of India. While you are staying in the academy during that period you cant get married. ~To enter the Indian Military Academy you just need to pass H.S. or its equivalent from a recognized board as mentioned earlier. ~To enter the Air Force Academy & Naval Academy you need to pass 12th standard successfully from a recognized board but in addition to that they need to have physics and mathematics as their compulsory subjects at 10+2 level. ~The minimum age limit is 16.5 years and maximum age limit is 19 years. This is binding on all categories. ~The selection procedure is based on the following stages:- Written Examination, Physical Test by SSB and Intelligence Test. ~There will be two papers:- Mathematics and General Ability Test.
