Re: Summer training for B.Tech (ECE) student?

well the procedure is simple.
You have to apply to companies .. with an application forwarded through your
Department. Companies have slots according to their capacity... larger units have more slots. This is Under government rule to facilitate learning and industrial exposure to
make good quality engineers.
However you will not receive positive reply from all..
so you have to apply to many companies.
Further if you have some personal contacts in industry like family or friends.
Take their help to secure training.
For example TATA steel provides training to childrens of family members
childrens of employees.
some of the companies you can apply to Include
TATA
HAL
ISRO
Samsung
Hyundai etc.
Further students may also go to universities in summers... for this various univrsities
issue notifications.Including IIT's IISc. NIT's Central universities
hope it helps
best of luck

Well you go for Industrial Kind of Training in big companies like BHEL, HAL, Tata Motors, DLW, Bel, ISRO, BSNL and many more

Either you can learn few job oriented technologies like Embedded, VHDL, MATLAB from good & reputed institutes like CETPA, Vector, Sandeepani School of VLSI Design, RL-VLSI & many others.
Take your technology training frm above mentioned institues only as they exist from a very long time, their teaching methodology is far better than others & their Certificate (which you will get after completion of your training) is of great importance

Thanks & all d best
