For taking Admission in Anna University for MCA Course you will have to apply for TANCET Entrance test.TANCET Stands for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test.To apply for this entrance test you will required to fulfill these Eligibility conditions :

Educational qualification :-

Your minimum educational qualification should be bachelor degree pass out in any discipline from recognized university.
You should have a Mathematics/Statistics as a subject paper in Inter level.
However candidates having Bachelor degree in Computer Science /Information Technology will be eligible to apply for this entrance test.

Marks required :-

Candidates who belong from the General category should have a minimum of 60% marks in bachelor degree course.
Candidates who belong from the SC/ST/OBC should have a minimum of 50% marks in bachelor degree course.

Note :-

All those candidates who will apply for this entrance test and are from outside Tamil Nadu state will be treated as General Category candidates.

Exam Pattern for TANCET for MCA Course

Total duration of this entrance test will be 2 hour and 30 minutes.
Total number of questions will be 100.
Total marks will be 200.

Entrance Exam Syllabus for MCA course

Quantitative Ability.
Analytical Reasoning.
Logical Reasoning.
Computer Awareness.
Verbal activity and Basics of Science.
