Re: What is the age limit for CTET entrance exam? Dear friend CTET stand for Common Teacher Entrance Test. The minimum age limit for appearing the exam will be 18 years and there is no Upper age limit for CTET entrance exam. There are two levels in CTET: Primary Level Teachers: - Candidates must be pass 12th stands with min of 50% aggregate & having experience of 2 years Diploma in elementary education (OR) BSTC for being eligible. Junior Level Teachers:- Candidates who are apply for secondary lavel must have pass Graduation from any recognized university & have 2 years diploma in elementary education (OR) B.Ed Good luck............... |

Educational Qualification: The applicant should complete the Graduation from any recognized university. There are two levels in CTET: Primary Level Teachers: you must be 12th passed out with minimum 50% Junior Level Teachers: Graduation from recognised University Paper 1 is for Primary level teachers Paper 2 is for Junior level teachers Selection Procedure: There will be a Written test follwed by Interview. |

Re: What is the age limit for CTET entrance exam? CTET stands for the Central Teachers Eligibility Test. This is mandatory to be cleared by candidates who are interested in becoming government teacher. Earlier there wasn't any requirement to appear for CTET. Any candidate with Bachelor of Education degree was eligible for government job. The Bachelor of Education is one year long course. However various studies revealed the poor quality of education in government schools. One of the main reason was not having quality teachers. Which is why the Ministry of Human Resources and Development decided to introduce the Central Teachers Eligibility Test. CTET was introducted for central government funded schools which includes Tibetan Schools and Kendriya Vidhayalaya. The states were also given intructions to conduct a similar test which is known as Teachers Eligibility Test. Generally it is believed that CTET is more difficult to clear in comparison to TET. On average no more than 15 to 20 percent candidates manages to clear the Central Teachers Eligibility Test. However since this test is accepted by CBSE affiliated schools, candidates prefer to appear for the CTET. Eligibility 1. Nationality: CTET test is open for Indian citizens. 2. Education: Valid Bachelor degree in any stream. 3. Marks: At least 50 percent marks in the course. 4. Education: You should also have Bachelor of Education degree. 5. Marks; There is no criteria. 6. Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for CTET. |
