$$ NET stands for National Eligibility Test. this exam is conducted by University Grant Commission twice time in year. generally conducted for the two post Junior Research Fellowship post and Lecturer post......

$$ Since, you have completed your Master's in Business Administration in finance then you can apply for this examination....

$$ A candidate after completing their Post Graduation degree in any Discipline or Master's Degree in any discipline from Recognized Universities Become eligible for this examination.....

$$ A candidate must have secure at least 55% in their PG Level. Relaxation for SC/ST up to 5% applicable.....

$$ There is no any age limit for Lecturer post...

$$ But, If you are applying for the Junior Research Fellowship post then your age should not exist 28 years......

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conduct twice time in year by UGC.This test will be conduct for only lectureship , PHD and JRF .

Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam but their is also some marks criteria.For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55% above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

2. OBC Candidates would be required to pay Rs. 225/-
3. SC/ST/PWD Candidates would be required to pay Rs. 110/-.

Educational Qualifications for the UGC-NET exams is:
Post Graduation pass
Minimum 55% marks in Post Graduation for the General and OBC candidates
Minimum 50% marks for the SC/ST candidates


NET Exam is conducted for:
Lecturership
Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)


Age Limit:
Lectureship-No age limit
JRF-maximum age to apply is 28 years
OBC/WOMEN/SC/ST candidates can apply till 33 years


SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:
PAPER 1 - 100 Marks 50 questions of two marks each
PAPER 2 - 100 Marks 50 questions of two marks each
PAPER 3 - 150 Marks 75 questions of two marks each

YES after clearing the UGC NET exams you can apply for the Asst Profesor post in Colleges

Only difference between Asst Professor and Lecture is seniority.
Lecturer have teaching and research experience
they also startted as Asst Professor and rose to that post

Yes, you are eligible for NET, as you are a master’s degree holder. The qualification must be obtained from any of the recognized institute. Exam preparation can be made after collecting detailed exam syllabus from the portal of UGC. After clearing NET you can apply for Asst Professor position in government colleges. Lecturer is an entry-level profile, where as Professor is a senior level position. After serving five years in the role of Asst Professor, one can move to the job position of Associate Professor.
