Hi...
You should select Science Stream after 10th. For Bsc IT you should score good marks in Maths in 12 th & should score good marks. You can also take Comuter Science With Phyics ,Maths ,Chemistry & English. So that You can Have Base of IT.

Dear as you want to pursue B.Sc in Information Technology(IT) after completing your 12th so in my opinion you should opt for following subjects :-

1. Physics
2. Chemistry
3. Mathematics/Biology
4. English
5. Computer science

Hai friend,

Choosing subjects after 10th depends on your ambition.

As you wish to do Bsc IT, You can prefer Computer Science Subject.

Scope of Bsc. IT

1.Software Engineer / Programmer
2.Developer (.NET / JAVA / C++ etc...)
3.Network Administrator
4.Database Administrator
5.Network Programmer
6.Tester
7.System Analyst
8.Business Analyst
9.System Engineer
10.Hardware Engineer
11.Support Specialist etc...

With B.Sc IT degree, you will get entry level job in the above profiles.

As all the jobs require computer skills and knowledge, you can prefer Computer Science after 10th.

If you want to choose the B.Sc (IT) then you have to choose any arts subject with maths because all the candidates are eligible for the B.Sc (IT) course which have studied maths in there 12th standard.

But I want to say that scope of B.Sc(IT) is very minimum in the Indian market now. You choose the non-medical line after the 10th class. Yes, you are now thinking that non-medical is hard course but i am not saying that you choose the engineering course in the UG level. I want to say that if you study the non-medical in the 12th standard then you will be eligible in all the courses either you want to do the B.Sc(IT), BCA, B.Sc(CS), Engineering, B.Sc(Science) etc. and also you will be eligible for the some job selection test conducted by the Navy, Air force and Army. So, try to studied the 11th standard and 12th standard with non-medical and thereafter choose your career.

But try to get maximum percentage 60 in all the subject.

Dear friend

Selection of appropriate subjects play a major role in achieving the career goal.A you have mentioned that you are interested in bachelor's degree in information technology.

It clearly indicates that you need to select the science stream in 10+2.

The subjects combination in the 10+2 must be :

1.Physics

2.Chemistry .

3.Mathematics /Biology.

4.English

5.Computer.

Selection of computer as fifth subject will help you in gaining basic knowledge of computers that will definitely boost up your confidence while pursuing bachelor's degree in information technology.
