GPSC exam is conducted by Gujarat State Government .

Eligibility :

Candidates must be citizen of India

Candidates must have Degree in any stream from a recognized University .

Final year students is also eligible for apply

Candidates age limit between 21 to 28 years

The upper age relaxation as per govt rules

3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates

10 years age relaxation for reserved quota women's

5 years age relaxation for general quota women's

There is no limit for Number of Attempts

The applicant should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

Percentage is not important for this exam.

Candidate must be an INDIAN origin.


Age criteria:-

The candidate age limits should be in between 21 years to 28 years,

3 years relaxation for OBC category candidates,

5 years relaxation for SC/ST category candidates,

10 years relaxation for PWD category candidates.


Selection process:-

Preliminary examination,

Mains examination,

Personal interview.



Preliminary examination consist of two papers,
Paper-I: General studies,

Paper-II: Candidate have to select one subject to be select from the optional subjects.

Total marks-200 marks.


Mains examination consists of 5 papers.
Total marks-1000 marks.
