Re: Scope of Robotics in Future?

hello,
M.Sc Physics in all fields are important. This is a science branch so dont have to worry much about future aspects.Lets see what are the opportunities are there for you after completing m.sc physics- You can become a lecturer after cracking net exam, you can go in the field of research and development. You can also go for:
.P.hd.
.NET for lecturership.Teaching.
.Reasearch
.JRF & SRF Posts
. posts in ISRO, NASA
.Fellowships JRF & SRF's
.Lab Technician
.lab Attendant, Assistant.
the scope of M.Sc is tremendous in various field like basically maths, physics , chemistry.anyone pusuing M.Sc in these disciplines .
good luck.

Re: Scope of Robotics in Future?

A specialisation in robotics engineering may lead to potential career opportunities in manufacturing, research and engineering, agriculture, mining, nuclear, power-plantmaintenances and a variety of other areas. Besides, thereis great scope for qualified experts and researchers to associate themselves with different segments of R & D in robotics.

As the recent global career trend in robotics suggests, fields so diverse as surgery, modern warfare and nanotechnology have registered a remarkable increase recently in their demand for technical expertsand researches in robotics.

One of the great ways to learn about robotics is to take part in robotics competitions organised by IITs every year. Students from various engineering colleges and high schools cantake part in this technical festival. Surveys conducted by the government and private agencies reveal that the robots enhance the job quality, productivity, productquality, profiatbility for those who work in hazardous environments. Japan has the largest number of robots and only 3 percent of the workforce is unemployed there. The use of robots creates jobs and people who are working manually can be rehabilitated in different areas through training. Even, robots require maintenance, programming and design change. So, if you rehabilitate the displaced workers and train them in handling different aspects of robots, it will lead to increased productivity.

Institutes:

Departments of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer and computer science at IIT. Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and IISc.

Computer Science with Specialisation in Artificial Intelligence.

All the seven IITs in Delhi, Kanpur, Mumbai, Chennai, Kharagpur, Guwahati and Roorkee.

The Centre for Robotics and Mechatronics at IIT Kanpur run Master's programme in Robotics. A programme in robotics can be pursued fromseveral departments of the institute such as the departments of computer science and engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering.

National Institutes of Technology, the University ofHyderabad. M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.

Jadavpur University, Kolkata - ME Robotics.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani-M E Computer Science(Robotics as a special subject)

Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Prasanthinilayam(Tamil Nadu)-M.Tech.

PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore(Tamil Nadu) Mechanical(Robotics as an elective subject)

Re: Scope of Robotics in Future?

There are so many scope of robotics in future.Basically there are two options left for you.Either you can go abroad OR you can stay at INDIA.

Scope in INDIA :

1.You can apply for ISRO and can go for it.
2.DRDO is the another option for you.
3.ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF ROBOTICS.

Scope at ABROAD :

1.NASA is the best option for you at ABROAD.

Re: Scope of Robotics in Future?

you can go for a PCM with computer science if you are interested in robotics... the scope of this field will only increase in the future as humans become more and more dependant on machines..also we are constantly discovering new areas of reasearch where it is humanly impossible to go..for example outer space..so we take the help of robots ...after doing a bachelors degree in engineering prefferentially mechanical or electrical..you can opt for a wide range of robotics involved fields ..such as maintstream robotics or nanotech etc.

--------------------------Robotics---------------------------
Robotics is not only the futur career. It's a very Interesting Part in My Life.

At in car section -- There are alredy 90 % cars is builted in Robotics Part.

But I am told that think- the 100% cars are built in Machinary. not only in machinary also built in robotics technology.

I am interested in robotics.
I will get the robotics sky..............

---------Robotics Education----------
We are going to Diploma after digree and after we are going to robotics engineering.

But we have sean that information in Internet also.

there are very various parts are we goan in Robotics Engineering.

I am Student of Diploma Engineering in 2nd year inBhujbal College.

If you are understand my information, so you reply me...

Re: Scope of Robotics in Future?

There are amazing opportunities in the field of robotics..

Robotics is the damn interesting course..

as the humans are highly developing in all the ways

they are also aspiring more comforts and luxuries and for this purpose the humans are developing machines to enjoy the result what they are expecting..

so for this

robotics group for young minds is very interesting and good career option..

and some countries like japan are facing serious problem of man power for that purpose too they are depending upon machines

which are nothing but

already 90% of car is designed by a robots..

so for creating robot and developing the art of artificial intelligence the human intelligence highly required factor..

so definitely the robotic engineers will have a bright future..

so i think you understood the scope of robotics by the above two examples

don't keep any doubts in your mind..

just opt robotics

you will seriously have a very bright future

all the very best

Re: Scope of Robotics in Future?

For robotics you need to be strong in mechanics and electronics especially and remember this is the sector where ideas can drive life into luxury out of human imagination.
try to write prgrams using various microcontrollers.
this will help you a lot.
robotics is the most interesting subject.
go ahead....
all the best.

Robotics is a great field to be innovative and creative .

So there is lots of scope, go for it ..

Robotics is now a leading technological stream over all the world.

You should choose Maths, Physics and Chemistry as your majors at 11th standard in order to join Robotics stream in future.

After your 12th standard you either join Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering in order that you can specialize in Robotics in future.

All the Best!

Re: Scope of Robotics in Future?

hi...
my suggestion is after 12th take up engineering, learn the basics needed to develop your career as a robotics engineer..then you can probably join some institutes that provide special training in this robotics field.
leaving science fiction aside, the expectations concerning intelligent robotics technology over the next decade or so are quite modest..the practical application domains where robotics technology is most likely to be used are
1.transport
2.mining
3.exploration
4.civil defence
5.security
6.war machines
7.scientific instrumentation
8.assistive technologies
9.civil defence
10.domestic services..

some new robotics research interests are developing in the bio-robotics and cognitive science fields...

all the best
