Re: Is there any scope for B.Tech Mechanical engineer in India?

Don't take mechanical engineering if you are an average student. There are lots of job opportunities but unless you secure any from your college campus, life is gonna be hell. There are psu jobs, govt jobs, railway job. Also there are 1000s students from various iits studying btech, mtech and phd. Then there are nits. there students, then BITs and all the good institutes. So at the end of the year no one is gonna hire you. Go for IT department unless you can secure a place in IIT and NIT.

Mechanical engg. Is better as it is evergreen branch .scnpe of mechanical is alwayz constant. Civil scope is better nwadayz as there is a construction in every city is needed...jobs depend on from which college u are doing and both branches have scopes in aboard nwadays....and in my point of view if u are a hard worker student then go for mechanical...n if not then civil...best of luck

Re: Is there any scope for B.Tech Mechanical engineer in India?

Mechanical engineers have better career scope across India. They can try for a job in PSU, railway, banks, automobile companies, and so on. At entry level, candidates can have salary between Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 20,000/- per month. The course offers equal scope as that of mechanical engineering. In foreign nations also, you can try for technical job positions.
