Hi

ARTS is one of the streams which are offered in the higher secondary classes. Its one of the creative streams which gives exposure to the students to think aside, out of the box, create be it in arts, memorizing parts in History as its a story, sociology, geography, or other subjects like English, Hindi, Sanskrit, etc..

As you may know that there are 3 streams which are put on offer like SCIENCE, COMMERCE AND ARTS. So all three have scopes but in their respective streams and field. You cannot and should not compare any of these as these are all different in their own ways.

Though a Science student can take up ANY course in the world be it of commerce or arts background, but Arts and Commerce students CANNOT take up the Science courses.
Talking of the scope that a career may have if pursued in the arts stream, I would say the career is not wide enough for the current market scenario. Yes you may be able to pursue your passion like Music, Dance, Subjects, but job wise you won't be able to contribute much in corporate companies and MNC's however you can start teaching classes, tutions, or even take up jobs in the streams related to the study that you have done..

Some of the top courses you can take up in arts would be : English, Sociology, Sanskrit, History,Geography, Animation, BBM, BBA, Journalism, Mass Communication, Music, Dance, Arts, Fashion Designing, etc..

Rather I would suggest you to take up Commerce or Science stream with Maths as one of the subjects because it would really add value to your career and widen the growth opportunities and improve your job profile liability.

Hope this helps

All the best

Re: Is Arts stream having good Career scope?

hi
there is a good scope for the arts students in future
u can do the courses like BBA,BBM,LLB,CSetc.
if u want to become an IAS officer then there is a great choise for u after graduation u can apply for the test
if u want to do bussiness then you can do MBA after graduation in arts
so there is a great scope for the arts students but only thing is that the student should be very hard working and sincere

Re: Is Arts stream having good Career scope?

Hello Dear,

BBA
-BBM
-B.Com
-Chartered Accountancy
-LLB
-ICWA
-CS course
-MBA
-M.Com etc.

Finance Department has a major role to play in an organization. If there are any errors in annual report, obviously, the good name for the candidate will go off.

If the funds are not invested in the right investment avenue by finance department, obviously, the company can not reap good returns.

If no reserves maintained by the finance department in the organization, the organization can not survive in crisis situations.

This much imporatance is there for finance department in the organization.

Candidates who have completed arts related courses will be absorbed into the Finance department of the organization and has a major role to play.

If you are interested to join arts related course, you can opt for it and make most out of the course.

You will be having good number of job opportunities after completion of your course.

All the best.
