Re: How should I prepare for NDA entrance exam? First of all Girls are not eligible to apply for NDA examination. Only unmarried males can apply for NDA exam. The age for NDA exam is 16.5 to 19 years and only Indian citizen can apply for this exam. If girls want to join Indian Defence then they must study till Graduation and then apply for CDS examination which is also conducted by UPSC. The selection in Defence as an officer is based on the performance in the written exam, SSB and Interview. So you have to prepare according to the syllabus of the exam pattern. How To Prepare For NDA NDA is the abbreviated form of National Defence Academy for joining which..UPSC conducts an examination in April as well as August every year.. There are 3 branches to which candidates can opt to join :- 1) Army Wing 2) Navy Wing 3) Air Force Wing The minimum requirements which a candidate must satisfy for appearing in the NDA Examination are :- 1) The candidate can only be an unmarried male 2) The candidate can only be a 12th pass out from a recognized board.. 3) Physics and Maths are compulsory subjects in 12th in case the candidate wishes to join the Air Force Wing or the Naval Wing.. 4) There is no restriction on the number of attempts for appearing in this exam.. 5) There is no age relaxation for any category.. I am really sorry to disappoint but your daughter cannot appear in the NDA Examination even after passing her 12th boards.. However,if she really wishes to get into the armed forces then she can apply for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination also conducted by the UPSC.. Candidates can only appear for the CDS Examination..after the completion of their graduation.. Sorry sir girls are not eligible for this NDA Entrance exam. Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible for this NDA exam. But am giving some of information about the NDA entrance exam details i hope it is clear to understand you. NDA stands for National Defence Academy and its examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. The examination is held for the recruitment for the following wings : Indian Army Indian Air Force Indian Navy Eligibility criteria:- **The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised state or central board. **Male unmarried candidates only eligible. **The age limits are 16.5years to 19years. **Final year candidates and those who are awaiting results may also apply. .
