You can definately apply for SBI clerk exam after 12th class with 60% marks in it.age limit for sbi clerk job is 18 to 28 years.SBI(State bank of india) offering this job.And also age relaxation for SC/ST-5 YEARS,OBC-3 years. |

You should be Indian citizen to apply for job in IBPS. 2. Must have completed 12th standard. 3. Subjects in 12th standard do not matter. 4. Minimum of 60 percent marks in 12th board. 5. Should have basic Computer Operating SKills. 6. Age limit is 20 to 30 years for the SBI Clerk. 7. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC. 8. Hello friend If you have any degree along with you intermediate(12th) then you will be eligible for the IBPS clerical examination but only with your 12th class as a criteria you are not eligible for any of the IBPS exams. Required Educational Qualification for IBPS Clerical : A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Yeah yes you are eligible for SBI(State Bank of India) clerk exam. The details about this exam is given below. Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete 12th standard with atleast 60%of marks from a recognised board or university. Or The candidate should have to complete graduation from a recognised university. Applicant must be a citizen of India. Age criteria:- The age limits are 18 years to 28 years, 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates, 10years upper age relaxation for PWD candidates. From September 2012 , the Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection as well as the State Bank Of India decided that even for the Clerical Exam , the minimum educational qualification will be graduation in any discipline. The Full Eligibility Criteria Required for Bank Clerical Exams are : * You must have completed graduation in any discipline from any UGC recognized university. * Final Year candidates cannot apply. * The candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in graduation. * SC/ST/OBC Candidates get 5% relaxation in marks. * Your age should lie in between 18-28 years. * Relaxation of 3 years for OBC Candidates and of 5 years for SC/ST Candidates are granted. While earlier Bank Clerk job were possible to apply with qualification of 12th pass, IBPS has changed its criteria to graduation degree. It was done after government of India made it mandatory. Although State Bank of India has still not done it, there is a good chance that it will also follow it in the coming years. But till then you have the chance of applying for Bank Clerk exam conducted by the State Bank of India. The State Bank of India is the largest bank of India and one of the only Public Sector Banks that conducts its own entrance exams and do not rely on Institute of Banking Personnel Services. SBI Bank Clerk Eligibility 1. You should be Indian citizen to apply for job in SBI. 2. Must have completed 12th standard. 3. Subjects in 12th standard do not matter. 4. Minimum of 60 percent marks in 12th board. 5. Should have basic Computer Operating SKills. 6. Age limit is 18 to 28 years for the SBI Clerk. 7. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC. 8. Relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years. This criteria stands as for now, but as I have mentioned earlier that State Bank of India is also expected to comply with the government recommendation thus the criteria could change to graduation degree. Which is why I will recommend you to apply for the graduation course if you haven't done it so far. |

If your marks is below 60% then you have to complete Graduation to become eligible for bank exams. Computer knowledge is essential for SBI clerk exam and you have to show proof to SBI that you have studied computers basics. You haven't mentioned the 12th class percentage so you only decide whether you are eligible for SBI clerk or not. Age Limit for SBI Clerk Exam: Age should be between 18-28 years if you belong to General category. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories. SC/ST - 5 years relaxation OBC - 3 years relaxation PWD - 10 years relaxation Exam Pattern: The exam will have objective type questions. There will be following sections in the examination. -Reasoning Ability -Quantitative Ability -English -Computer and Marketing Aptitude -General Awareness There will be negative marking for wrong answers. Graduation in any subject is the basic qualification required. Maximum age limit is 28 years. SBI often recruits 12th passed candidates with a minimum of 60% marks as clerical staff. Selection test comprise questions in general awareness, numerical ability, reasoning, and English language. |

If you have got more than 60% in your class 12th then you can appear for this examination. Notification will be released on this website: www.sbi.co.in For all other Public Sector Banks, you will have to appear for IBPS examination and for this examination, graduation is the minimum eligibility criteria. Till last year, the minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates in order to apply for clerical positions in various banks is 12th class. With changed rules and changed eligibility criteria, from this year the candidates can not apply for clerical positions with 12th class as the minimum academic qualification. IBPS came into picture from past few years (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) conducting common written exam for the recruitment of Clerical positions PO positions Specialist Officers in all the public sector banks. The selection procedure for the recruitment of clerical positions will be Written Exam Interview The written exam consists of questions from the following categories Reasoning Numerical Ability General Awareness General English Computer or Marketing Knowledge There is negative marking in the written exam for the wrong answer questions. One should have to score minimum qualifying marks in each of the above mentioned categories. Then only he will be considered as qualified in the written exam. Some cut off marks will be decided after the completion of the written exam. The candidates who have scored more than the cut off marks will be invited for the Interview at 1:4 ratio. So it is very important for the candidates to score high marks in the written exam otherwise the candidates will not get call for the Interview. Graduation is the minimum academic qualification required in order to apply for Clerk Exam. So, I suggest you to join your Graduation first and complete it successfully. Start preparation for Bank Clerk Exam from the second year of your Graduation. Try to be perfect in all the aspects of the written exam by the time you complete Graduation.
