hai,

To get in M.Tech course you must crack the GATE examination.

1.Because this examination is conducts for whose required admission for M.Tech course those various IIT's and NIT's.

2.So first you should apply for GATE examination.

3.After qualifying this examination then you are eligible to get in M.Tech Course various Institutes.

4.This exam is conducted with the help of 7 IITs and 1 IISc, Bangalore. This is one of the biggest and best entrance exam for M.tech course.

5. So you should apply for GATE exam for getting a seat in M.Tech course.

List of Colleges offering admission on the basis of GATE score:-

1.IISc Bangalore

2.IIT Bombay

3.IIT Guwahati

4.IIT Kanpur

5.IIT Kharagpur

6.IIT Madras

7.IIT Delhi

8.IIT Roorkee

You can not take seat in M.Tech unless you have appeared for GATE entrance exam.
M.Tech is specialized course and one should be very cautious while choosing the college as there are very few good colleges for M.Tech

You should aim top IIT for M.Tech for better career, better profile and better job prospects.

You should apply for GATE first. GATE exam is held every year on the second sunday of Febraury( offline mode )
GATE is also conducted online for few subjects which is held in last week of January.

For doing M.Tech you have to 1st apply for the GATE. Then you should have a valid GATE score. Then depending on that there will be admission procedure through which you will get admissions in following colleges:=
IITs
NITs
Autonomous Institutes

i completed my btech in 2011...and now i want to do mtech but i didnt appear for both GATE and PGSET......do i have any chance of getting set in mtech are should i wait for the next years gate or pgset exam......
