Hi Friend ->You can join in Indian Navy through NDA examination after the completion of 12th ->NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice every year to recruit candiadates in NAVY,ARMY and AIRFORCE wings ->Minimum educational qualification required to join in INDIAN NAVY is 12th pass in 10+2 pattern with physics & mathematics subjects and only male candidates are eligible to apply ->Age limit to apply is 16 1/2 to 19 years and the candidate must be physically and medically fit as per NDA regulations ->For further details visit www.upsc.gov.in **ALL THE BEST** |

Re: What are the requirements to joining Indian Navy after passing 12th standard? Dear Friend, Indian Navy is too much good to join after 12th study. The detail Physical Standards to join Indian Navy after 12th as SSB officer is mentioned below: (a) Height and Weight Minimum height - 157 cms with correlated weight as per age. (b) Eye Sight The minimum acceptable vision standards for distant vision is 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind Note: There will be no relaxation in physical standards. In the Naval Academy curriculum, a lot of emphasis is laid on physical fitness. You are therefore, advised to remain fit by undertaking regular physical exercise, sports, running, swimming, etc. so that you can meet the training goals successfully. This qualification must be obtained with physics and mathematics as subjects. Your age must be between 16 1/2 and 19 years. Unmarried male candidates can apply. Selection process is made through NDA entrance exam. General aptitude and basic mathematics forms the syllabus of the test. |
