Re: Is Maths compulsory for BCA? Many candidates are having this doubt and they are not sure whether they are eligible or not to join BCA course. You did not mention the stream that you have gone through in your 10+2. As per your question, I can understand that you did not have Mathematics in your 10+2. But that is not a problem to join BCA course. Candidates from any stream like -Science stream -Arts stream are eligible to join BCA course. To get admission for this BCA course, some colleges will conduct entrance exam. Some other colleges will give direct admission for this course. The duration of this course is 3 years. It is a technical related course. After completion of this course, you will be able to get job opportunities in various IT companies like Wipro Infosys TCS Mahindra Satyam etc. To get good job profile and good salary, I suggest you to complete your Post Graduation in MCA. But to join, it is mandatory to crack the Entrance Exam. First decide yourself whether you are having interest to work in IT industry and then opt for this course. If you are not interested of doing job in IT sector, then choose some other course which you are interested. Wish you all the best. |
