My Application form there has been a mistake near the part of class x th board name in the application form. I have mistakenly type class x th board name in application form. so how should I rectify my mistake please tell me............. |

Female Instead Of Male In IIT JEE Application Form, Then I will Tell You That After Fill The Form And Submitted It, You Can Not Change Or Rectify It Later. It Was Clearly Mention In The Application Broucher That Once the Application Form Was Submitted, It Can Not Rectify Later. But You Can Ask From The Concerned Department, If Possible then They Will Help You. But According to My Knowledge, You Can Not Rectify Your Mistakes. So, Whenever You Fill The Application Form, Please Fill It Correclty As Per The Guidelines Mention In The Application Broucher. |

It would be better for you to send another application form . Since after filling the gender you can't correct it in your application form. So the only possible way for you to send another application form. Go through the form filling instructions carefully while filling the application form. It would be better if you take a photo copy of your application form and fill that duplicate application form first. Then fill your main application form. GOOD LUCK |

I mean it is always better to check and re check the same. I fail to understand that how can a person wrongly mention its gender. Anyway, you cant do anything about your mistake as the JEE instruction clearly states that, once the entries has been made it cannot be modified or changed. What i would suggest is that you contact the zonal JEE office and tell them about your 'GENDER PROBLEM'. They would be better able to help you out in this matter. Alternatively, if they cannot provide any solution, then the best would be to fill out a new form. But as the last dates have well gone by, so wait for a year and repent for your carelessness. Learn from your mistakes and be careful next time onwards. Always think before you do anything silly! |

Though it is mentioned in the IIT JEE 2011 application form that the filled in application form once submitted can not be modified later. But if you have made a mistake in your IIT JEE 2011 application form by typing female in stead of typing male in the gender category then you should immediately contact the IIT JEE office. You should contact the JEE office of that IIT to which you have sent the hard copy of your filled in application form with proper supporting documents for implementing corrections in your forms. You are also required to Quote your application number for all correspondence. |

I think one should be careful while writing application and they have to check it before submitting mistakes are quite common U can approach to the officer corresponding JEE branch after application status is updated they can help u but u have to convince them with perfect proofs of application I wish u best of luck and all the best for exam too......... |

Hi friend, According to the rule given in IIT JEE form filling given in the brochure, we cannot change anything once you submitted. The mistakes of gender can be a serious problem while appearing the exam itself. So, My advice would be contact the concern authority and ask what you can do on that. OR Write a application Regarding your mistake mention your application form no and if you are having passport or any central government ID proof take a xerox and do Fax to the concern IIT zone to the chairman. thanks |

Dear Friend If you go through the JEE Information Brochure carefully you can see the IMPORTANT NOTES on the very first page. According to this Options in the application once selected can't be changed at a later stage. So, i don't thing there is any remedial stage. You should contact the JEE Chairman office for the problem; The contact is available in the JEE information brochure. It is attached with this message. Find it into the attachments. Thank You |
